NORTH COMMONS REFRIGERATED RINK
For the Future of our Youth!
Dear North Commons Community,
We are reaching out to you today with an important opportunity to make a positive impact in our community, supporting a state-of-the-art refrigerated ice rink with canopy at North Commons, transforming it into a dynamic space for skating in the winter and basketball in the summer, ensuring year-round recreational opportunities for our youth.
Since its acquisition in 1907, North Commons Park has been cherished. From hosting youth programs and leagues to providing spaces for skating, hockey, basketball, and community gatherings, the park has played a vital role in the lives of many residents.
As part of the Minneapolis Park Board’s North Commons Improvement Plan, we are committed to addressing these challenges and creating a more equitable and inclusive space for all members of our community.
Thank you for your consideration. Together, we can create a brighter future for North Minneapolis.
Yours for happy and healthy children and youth,
Dale Hulme
